Craftsmanship

Every Comfort Bird begins as a carefully chosen piece of wood.  Using power carving tools, I carefully shape each bird, following the grain rather than forcing it.  Each bird is then hand sanded and finished to reveal the natural beauty of the wood.  The result is a bird that’s warm to hold, smooth to the touch, and completely one of a kind. No two are ever alike—just as nature intended.
